Privacy Policy

Invoira ("we", "us") is an invoicing tool for freelancers and small service businesses at invoira.app. This policy explains what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how you remove it. It covers the website and the application.

Information we collect

• Account details. Your email address and sign-in credentials. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google — nothing else, and we never ask for access to your Gmail, Drive or contacts.
• Business profile. Your business name, address, tax identifiers, payment instructions and an optional logo you upload.
• Your records. Clients, services, invoices, payment entries you record yourself, and the activity history of each invoice.
• Usage events. A small, privacy-conscious record of product events such as a page view, an invoice issued or a PDF downloaded. These are counts used to improve the product; they contain no invoice contents and are not sold or shared for advertising.

How we use it

To create your account and sign you in, to produce and store your invoices and PDFs, to send an invoice or reminder by email when you ask us to, to apply your plan's monthly allowance, to answer your support messages, and to keep the service secure and working. We do not use your data to train AI models, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.

Google user data

If you choose "Continue with Google", we request only the basic scopes email, profile and openid. The name, email address and profile picture we receive are used solely to create and identify your Invoira account. We do not transfer this data to anyone other than the service providers listed below, and Invoira's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Deleting your Invoira account deletes this data.

Invoices made without an account

An invoice made on the free generator is stored in your browser's local storage on that device only, and nothing is sent anywhere while you fill it in. "Clear this invoice" deletes it, as does clearing your browser data. If you create an account from that page, the draft is uploaded once, into your account, at that moment.

Downloading the PDF is the one exception. To produce the file, the invoice is sent to our server and on to our document renderer, PixlDocs, which returns the PDF. It is used to render that one file and is not stored by us or by them. If that renderer is unavailable, your browser makes the PDF itself and the invoice never leaves your device.

Who else sees your data

We use a small number of service providers, each only for the purpose named: managed cloud hosting and database services that run the application and store your records, and SendGrid (Twilio) to deliver invoice and reminder emails you choose to send. We share data with them only as needed to provide Invoira, and otherwise disclose it only if the law requires it. Records are owned by your account and access rules are enforced in the database, not just on screen: another account cannot read or change your rows or files. Uploaded logos are held in private storage and served through short-lived links.

Share links

When you share an invoice, the link contains a long random token. Anyone with the link can see that one invoice's customer-facing details — your business identity, the invoice, the balance, payment instructions and the PDF. Internal notes, your other invoices and your account are not reachable through it. These pages ask search engines not to index them and limit referrer information. You can revoke a link at any time.

Payments

Invoira does not process your customers' payments and never sees their card or bank credentials. Payment records are entries you type yourself. No subscription payment provider is connected at present, so no billing card details are collected either.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete clients, services and drafts at any time from within the application. Issued invoices are kept as historical records and can be archived or voided rather than silently changed, because they are financial documents your client may also hold. You can export your invoices and clients as CSV at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, write to us at the address below; we action it within 30 days, after which copies remain only in encrypted backups until those expire.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to the address below and we will respond as quickly as we can.

Children

Invoira is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the application.
