What you get without an account

Everything a one-off invoice needs: your business and client details, a number and two dates, as many line items as you like, a tax label with a rate per item, an invoice-level discount, notes, payment instructions and a purchase-order reference. Pick any of the three templates and switch between them without losing a word. Change the currency from the preview and every amount is re-formatted with that currency’s own rounding.

Where your draft lives

The draft is saved to this browser’s local storage as you type, so a closed tab is not a lost invoice. It never leaves the device: it is not visible to us, not shared, and not synced anywhere. Clear it with the button in the editor or by clearing site data. Because it lives in one browser, it will not follow you to your phone; that is what an account is for.

How to make an invoice in about two minutes

• Add your name or business, email and address, then the client’s.
• Give it a number. As a guest you type it yourself; INV-0001 is a fine start. Set the issue date and the due date.
• Add a line per piece of work: description, quantity, unit price. Add tax or a discount only if you need them.
• Under notes, add payment terms and how you want to be paid: bank details, a UPI ID, or your own payment link.
• Check the preview, pick a template, download the PDF and send it from your own email or messaging app.

What it does not do

It does not collect money. Invoira never touches your funds; it prints your bank details or payment link and the client pays you directly. It does not decide what tax you owe: you type the label and the rate, it does the arithmetic. It does not email the invoice for you yet, because that needs a verified sender domain that is not set up. And it does not remember you across devices unless you create an account.

When an account is worth it

If you bill the same clients again, a free account saves clients and services, keeps a record of every invoice you issue, hands out consecutive numbers at issue time so two tabs cannot produce the same one, gives each invoice a private share link the client can open on a phone, and lets you record payments so you know who still owes you. “Bill again” duplicates last month’s invoice with new dates. The invoice you started as a guest is imported once when you sign up, so nothing is retyped.
